Since I need a place to vent, and thought this might also stir up some fun discussion, this topic is going to be updated fairly regularly with things in SL that really get my goat.

Today's irk: big boobs

Alright, I understand having a C cup on your avatar, but when you're getting into the realm of the boobs are bigger than your av's head or torso, seriously?  I can't imagine any man really being attracted to that because they just look so incredibly fake.  I've seen girls that have boobs to the point that even Dolly Parton would gasp.  I understand that you get to be whatever you want in SL, but why would anyone want knockers so big they'd fall flat on their face?  There's a point girls when they just look ridiculous.  It's okay to scale back some, really!

Irk: this girl or this one

For the love of all that's right and holy!  While yes we slavees are nothing more in the eyes of Gor than cattle, that does not mean we are inanimate objects.  Girls in the books did in fact refer to themself by the words I, my, me, etc.  There is no damn law or rule that a girl (or boy) always has to speak in the third person.  Third person speech is used as a punishment or at times to remind a slave of their place.  For Priest King's sakes, refer to yourself in the first person!  It is so damn annoying hearing girls (or boys) spouting all that third person garbage all the time.  If you were taught that is proper, you were taught wrong, unless of course your Master or Mistress has ordered you to speak so.

Irk: Free Women that have their Free Companion listed as their Master somewhere in their profile

If you're going to be a Free Companion, be a Free Companion.  The key word in that is FREE!  Yes you can act as a slave when you and your companion are together in private, that's fine, but why in the world if you are a Free Woman are you proclaiming elsewhere in your profile to be your companion's slave?  You're either Free or slave, make up your damn mind and stick to one role.

Irk: Improper tower or nadu anim

The default tower and nadu animations in most collars are wrong!  This means that on top of buying your collar, a proper tower and nadu need to be purchased as well, at a minimum.  I'll try not to get started on the other improper animations in most collars, though I will stomp in that there is no such position as karta.  The proper tower for a slave is kneeling back upon your heels, back straight, head up, thighs together, and hands crossed in front of you.  The proper nadu for a slave is kneeling back upon your heels, back straight, head up, breasts thrust forward, thighs spread wide, and hands resting upon your thighs.  The default animations in most collars always have a slave's palms turned upward.  This is incorrect!  Turning your palms upward is a way of signaling need.  It is also not common to go around kneeling in the position of bracelets as I see so many girls do.

Irk: People that feel the need to add decoration around their names on meter labels

Really, what's the purpose of adding ASCII characters and such to your name, or giving yourself some sort of title?  If in RP your name is different than your actual avatar name shouldn't that be learned via roleplay?  And the lovely little symbols that so many have figured out you can use in your profiles and such, please just leave those ASCII characters there and not in your title.
